Small Garden/Driveway installations
We handle small private driveway and paving projects, beginning with the removal of the existing driveway and building solid foundations. We then install the customer’s chosen surface, whether it be paving, gravel, or another material. Our focus is on delivering a high-quality, durable finish, and we jet wash the area upon completion to ensure a clean and polished look.
Public house refurb works and extensions
We have successfully completed several public house refurbishments, handling all aspects of the project while the venues were closed for full renovation and, in some cases, rebranding. Our work included internal and external demolition, kitchen extensions, drainage system redesign and installation for washrooms, as well as exterior improvements. This involved brickwork for walls, paving, step creation, concrete foundations, and tarmac where necessary. We also enhanced the outdoor spaces by laying turf in garden areas, delivering a complete transformation.
Lindum Hotel
The Lindum Hotel project was a major commercial undertaking, where we managed both internal and external works. Starting in the cellar, we excavated and laid foundations for new kitchens and staff areas, using conveyor belts to efficiently remove waste and bring in materials. Despite the challenge of digging through sand due to the beachfront location, we collaborated with the main contractors to find solutions. Drainage was a key focus, including the installation of manholes, starch separators, and a pumping station at the front of the building. External excavation was carefully managed with trench boxes, barriers, and props to ensure safety throughout the project.
Other Projects

We carry out demolition work at the start of most projects, from removing walls and brickwork to clearing general waste with the use of skips and grab wagons. In some cases, such as our work at LIPA in Liverpool, demolition was the sole focus, utilizing hand power tools, mini diggers, and breakers for larger areas. For internal demolition, we implement dust extraction systems and ensure our team is equipped with the appropriate PPE, including face masks and vibration-controlled tools. We prioritize safety with regular equipment checks, HAVS monitoring, and annual asbestos training, along with yearly face fit tests for protective gear.

The Dane Bower project was a bespoke residential development consisting of three units. Given the site's history as a former farm on a brownfield plot, we used mass-filled reinforced concrete foundations to ensure stability. Located in a high water volume clay area, we implemented a comprehensive drainage system to manage stormwater from the roofs, patios, and driveways. The driveways were finished with porous paving to prevent standing water and ensure proper drainage.

We have completed several projects at Morrisons Stores, with the largest being at Stoke’s Festival Park location, spanning nearly two years. Our work included the demolition and reconstruction of two new entrances, carefully coordinated to allow the store to remain open throughout. Working closely with structural engineers, we laid new foundations due to the site’s history as part of the former Shelton Bar British Steel works. Following the entrance construction, we replaced the paving at the rear of the store and revamped the car park with new paving, kerbs, and bollards. Health and safety were paramount, with clear signage, barriers, and safety protocols in place to protect the public. We also tackled complex drainage installations, including modifications to the internal drainage system and the installation of a cooling plinth in the service yard. The project concluded with jet washing of the newly installed paving for a clean finish. Similar works were carried out at approximately five other Morrisons stores across Staffordshire and Yorkshire.

We have recently expanded into industrial works, starting with maintenance at a factory in Telford, where we repaired external and internal flooring. This led to the installation of F800 Aco Channels at a ramped area, which impressed the main contractor and resulted in further work at another factory in Stoke. Our industrial projects have included the removal of large press foundations and the installation of new 8m x 5m x 1.5m deep press bases. Using our 9T and 3T excavators, we excavate old bases, install steel reinforcements, and complete concrete work, along with installing Aco Channels and drainage gullies.
